Leipzig welcomed its guests!

During WorldSkills Competition, the WorldSkills venue was at the Leipziger market place from 2 to 7 July in 2013 themed "Meet.Greet.Celebrate." The visitors experienced multifaceted days in the heart of the city. During the day the main topics were related to education and career orientation: Company presentations, exciting interview partners, and attractive hands-on activities presented Leipzig as an attractive education location. In the evenings, the audience was offered an entertaining program with live music and a huge "After Work Party". Special Highlights were the live broadcast of the WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 Opening Ceremony on 2 July and the Closing Ceremony on 7 July, shown on a large LED screen. The event was framed with a catering of international specialties in rich variation during all days.

On Sunday, numerous competitors and delegates visited the WorldSkills Meeting-Point and celebrated WorldSkills Leipzig 2013, there.

Lord Mayor Jung also welcomed the German team on stage.
